The company organized a panel discussion titled, “Public Service: Its Joys and Challenges”. The seminar brought together representatives from government, civil society, academia and private sector to discuss the importance of public service on the life and development of the nation, and the challenges and opportunities of that role.

Ms. Dilshad Dossani, Managing Partner, stated that “we have an interest in the notion of public service as defined in its broadest sense of ‘a service rendered in the public interest for the benefit of others’. Ms. Dossani further stated that this definition is not limited to those who work in government services, but encompasses all individuals, civil society and organizations that work for the benefit of the people of Bangladesh.”

A panel discussion was held featuring Dr. Gowher Rizvi (the Honorable International Advisor to the Prime Minister), Mr. Syeduzzaman (former Finance Minister, Ms. Nihad Kabir (President of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Dhaka) and Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman (former Advisor to the Caretaker Government).

There were several other panel discussions and workshops that were organized with senior Government officials, private sector and others.

The company also organized a panel discussion where Dr. Zillur Rahman, Mr. Nasim Mansur and Ms. Nihad Kabir participated.
